Cafe Guide: Best Coffee & Cafes in Bonifacio Global City
Not sure where to get your coffee fix in Bonifacio Global City (BGC)? If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous than your usual Starbucks hot tall mocha, here are five cafes to keep in mind when you’re in the area.

This place is highly recommended for those who bring their morning work to a coffee shop, thanks to their free Wi-Fi, comfortable ambiance, and their pretty extensive food & drinks menu. By lunchtime, not only will you leave Kuppa feeling full, but you can also expect to see cute expats seated on the next table.
Favorites: I am a big fan of their chorizo breakfast and skinny sugarless mochaccino. But if you’re into a healthy kick, you can also opt to order their fresh juices and teas. If you’re sharing with friends, their four-cheese pizza is also a must try, but make sure you save some space for their signature dessert: Matt’s Chocolate Cake. It’s their own version of lava cake and it’s oozing with chocolatey goodness! P.S.: Don’t forget to add gelato.

Wildflour will always top my weekend brunch go-to cafes. The place gets very packed on weekends so a 15-20 minute wait for a table is quite normal (better make reservations early on). And dare I warn you… prepare to spend some $$$ if you have a weak heart for pastries. The first thing that will welcome you once you enter this restaurant are its freshly baked cookies, cronuts, croissants, muffins… Gosh, I’m salivating right now as I’m writing this post.
Favorites: Breakfast BLT. My husband is Australian and according to him, this is as close as what you can get in Australia. In fact we are in Wildflour almost every month! If I’m not sharing a BLT with my hubby, I usually either go for the asparagus omelette or the soup, salad, sandwich which is only available from 11 a.m. onwards. I am also a big fan of their hot mocha paired with a piece of chocolate chip cookie. Heaven.

Luna Specialty Coffee may not be as big as the first two cafes I’ve mentioned, but when it comes to their coffee, they are all pretty much in the same league. Their menu is simple— Filipino breakfast comfort food and locally-sourced coffee — but still, it’s definitely not your average tapsilog or pandesal with palaman. The twists in their dishes make it an interesting experience that will keep you coming back for more.
Favorites: I love their piccolo mocha! It is sweeter than the usual cafe mocha and it comes in a smaller cup. But coffee is never measured by its size… it is measured by its flavor and this one hits right on the spot. For breakfast, I will recommend their longganisa pandesal.

This Australian-based coffee shop has fast gained buzz among Pinoy foodies as “THE place to be for coffee,” and boy we are lucky, as it has expanded fast and has now entered the concrete jungle of BGC! It is the only coffee shop in this list that doesn’t serve any meals in their BGC branches (Ecotower & in SM Aura). So if you want a quick coffee fix in the middle of your workday or if you are exhausted from a whole day of shopping then Toby’s Estate is the best coffee BGC has to offer.
Favorites: If you love a pretty coffee art with the strong espresso flavor, try the usual flat white which is best paired with a cookie or their buckies (something like a brownie but not really :D) from The Midnight Baker.

Slice is conveniently located in the heart of Bonifacio High Street. It’s quite accessible if you want to grab a quick cup of coffee before heading off to the movies at Central Square. In case you’re craving for healthy food, check out their wide array of healthy, organic meals from breakfast egg bennys to rice melts or barbecue flavored banana chips. However, make sure your dedication to eating healthy is strong. The calorie gods will definitely challenge you once you already see their cupcakes, cakes & pies.
Favorites: I enjoy their hot chococcino which is served on a wooden plate with granola on the side. For the main dish you’ll never go wrong with their rice melts! For a sweet ending, I would recommend an oreo cheesecake or a turtle pie. Bring home flavored banana chips too (barbecue flavor) for a perfect alternative to potato chips.
