Manny Pacquiao Apologizes for Saying ‘Homosexuals are Worse than Animals’
Boxing champ and Sarangani Representative Manny Pacquiao issued his apology via a three-part Instagram video series posted on his official account. The Pambansang Kamao and 2016 senatorial candidate is currently in hot water after his video interview with TV5’s Bilang Pilipino went viral (Read HERE). In the said interview, Manny was asked about his stand on same sex marriage. In an effort to back up his being against it, Manny stated that those engaging in same sex relationships are even worse than animals. As expected, this causes an outrage within the LGBT community. King of Talk Boy Abunda is one of those obviously infuriated by the statement (Read HERE).
The boxing champ apologizes for his comparison between homosexuals and animals but stands firm on his being anti-gay marriage.
