Superstar Nora Aunor Takes the Powerful Seat in MMFF 2016 Entry ‘Kabisera’
In a stellar cast, it is no surprise that the biggest star stands out. This is the case for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2016 entry Kabisera which brings together big names in showbiz. No less than the country’s Superstar Nora Aunor is its lead actress. Inspired by a true story, Kabisera is a family drama that deals with relevant socio-political issues.
The cast boasts of some of the best in the industry – Gawad Urian Best Actors Ricky Davao and Jason Abalos, Urian Best Supporting Actor Menggie Cobbarubias, QCinema Best Actor JC De Vera, MMFF Best Supporting Actor Victor Neri, Sinag Maynila Best Supporting Actress Ces Quesada, CineFilipino Best Actor Karl Medina, Gawad Urian Best Supporting Actress Perla Bautista, and the Grand Dame of Philippine Cinema Nora Aunor. Also part of the cast are actor-producer RJ Agustin, Ronwaldo Martin (Coco Martin’s brother), Kiko Matos, and Alex San Agustin.
