From 1 to naka-move-on-na-ako,” how true is the phrase “kaya niya, kaya mo” in the context of recently ended relationships? I can hear myself as the narrator of this McDonald’s newest TVC telling the same “moving on” mantra to my younger sister who just broke up with her boyfriend of almost two years.

It’s true — if the other one is able to move on quickly, why do you have to drag yourself in the old wormhole? Look at the bright side and use this breakup as an opportunity to meet someone new — or better yet — meet your version 2.0.

Good job, McDonald’s for being sooo relevant to our lives now.

P.S. McLisse (Mccoy de Leon and Elisse Joson) and Tony Labrusca make a good triangle. They should appear on television together.
