Record-Breaking: ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Earns 2017’s Highest PH 1st Day Gross with P47.2M
Walt Disney’s Beauty and the Beast worked its magic in Philippine box-office as it grossed P47.2-M on its first day last Thursday, March 16. Announced by a spokesperson of Walt Disney Studios Philippines, the live-action adaptation of the well-loved classic fairytale broke the record for the industry’s biggest opening day for 2017.
