Remember that classic scene between Sharon Cuneta (Dorina) and Cherie Gil (Lavinia) in Bituing Walang Ningning? Yes, that one where the line “You’re nothing but a second-rate, trying hard copycat” became a classic together with the splashing of water from a goblet. News personality-turned-actor Atom Araullo recreated the scene with the film’s original star Cherie. The two were directed by award-winning filmmaker Mike De Leon on the set. Atom and Cherie are part of Mike’s film-in-progress Citizen Jake.
