Targeted to the yuppie audience, GMA Network’s newest show G.R.I.N.D. (Get Ready It’s A New Day) aims to help us understand and get a real sense of the millennial* mindset — the generation’s views on family, relationship, career, and passion.

Starring in this Saturday late-night show are rising Kapuso stars Bruno Gabriel, Jazz Ocampo, Ayra Mariano, and Benedict Campos. The four give life to Carlo Yuson, Solanj Martinez, Lui Gonzales, and RK Katakutan.

MEET the cast:

CARLO – a self-made man. He comes from low origins but breaks out of his inherited position, climbs up the social ladder and creates a new identity for himself.
LUI – a hopeless romantic and breadwinner of a dysfunctional family
RK- a metro gay who takes different odd jobs to support his family in the province
SOLANJ – the rich “underachiever” who wants to be her own person and not her parents’ puppet

*Millennialsthe generation born between 1982 and 2004. Also known as Generation Y, Generation Me, Echo Boomers and Peter Pan Generation, this demographic covers 80 million of the world’s population.

In a bloggers’ conference last Thursday held at the Palm Grill, GMA Artist Center‘s Jazz, Bruno, and Ayra talked about the story, their characters, and daring scenes to watch out for in G.R.I.N.D.. Check out their interview highlights in the video clips below the photo gallery:
