LOOK: Former U-Kiss Member Alexander Lee is Heart Evangelista’s Leading Man in GMA’s ‘My Korean Jagiya’

Anneong, Kapuso fans! Meet GMA Telebabad’s newest oppa, Alexander Lee. The Korean singer-actor is in the Philippines as he top bills GMA’s upcoming series My Korean Jagiya (Jagiya means sweetheart or darling) with prized Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista. 29-year old Xander has been to the Philippines a few years ago as a member of the popular K-Pop boy band U-Kiss and he is now back in the country to show us his acting prowess.  He has previously appeared in some drama series in South Korea (namely, 3 Peas in a Pod, Immortal Masterpiece, and Moorim School).

Given the local K-Pop craze and growing K-Drama obsession, Alexander is expected to capture the hearts of Kapuso viewers nightly. Joining him are other Korean stars flown in by GMA Network — David Kim, Michelle Oh, and Jerry Lee.  The cast also includes Janice de Belen, Ricky Davao, Iya Villania, Edgar Allan Guzman, Valeen Montenegro, Myke Salomon, Jinri Park, Frances Makil Ignacio, Divine Aucina, and Khane Dela Cruz.

My Korean Jagiya premieres on GMA Telebabad this August 21.
