LOOK: Kris Aquino Reveals Her 5-Minute Role in ‘Crazy Rich Asians,’ Proud to Represent the Philippines
After the recent release of Kevin Kwan’s book-turned-Hollywood film project Crazy Rich Asians‘ trailer online, many wondered why Kris Aquino was nowhere in sight. The Philippines’ Queen of All Media posted a short clip on Instagram showing her photo on a wall with the rest of the other cast members’ but had her role covered with a virtual heart sticker.
Through a reply to a netizen in the comments section asking if she’s doing a bit role, Kris revealed her character. IG user @jczenemij16 left this comment, “Napanood ko trailer, pero di kita nakita? Extra ka lang ba dun? I thought you’re one of the main characters.:)”

Kris replied to the comment saying, “As recently as Friday, I said I’m there for 5 minutes BUT I do portray a (crown emoji)… Dude, I’m part of a Warner Brother history-making movie because it’s the first non-period, all-Asian, big Hollywood multi-million dollar production. Kris’ follower later apologized, clarified he meant no offense, and admitted lack of knowledge about the film.
In an interview by Shiela Reyes of ABS-CBN News last April 20, Kris already confirmed her role as a princess in the movie and said she only had two scenes. SYNOPSIS:
